Many fox hunters (up until the ban) hung their dead foxes along fences due to the tradition that in victorian times gamekeepers done it to show how well they were doing their jobs, and more recently to worn neighbours how they will treat a fox that gets onto their land. Nice people.
This is from a picture I found on flickr. It's very difficult to get photo's of fox hunters and other fox hunt traditions since the ban so I'm relying on the internet and books!
