So, I have spent all of today, and the majority of yesterday trying to work out how I can make a website that doesn't just sit there looking boring for this project, and I'm still failing. I now have a rough animation of a bird flying which I did in Photoshop :
 (Click on it and it will work)

and I've discovered that the easiest way to make the website is Flash Catalyst, but you can only do slide and fade etc animations on Catalyst, and I want my animals to run / fly etc around... but you can't export them from Photoshop into a format that Catalyst will accept, and even if I do it by exporting and then changing it in a different programme which is going to muck up the quality, and mean making buttons on Catalyst will be a pain!

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I changed my project again the other day. Yeah I'm in-decisive sometimes. Now I'm doing life after human's stuff...

here's a mock up of the techniques I think I want to use...

Obviously using a better layout, and a better drawn house, and less garish deer and my own photos. But you get the idea. I will story-board tomorrow.

Suddenly decided to completely change my project, and now it's all exciting and I'm happy again!

I'm illustrating newspaper articles, though I want to catch up a bit from the 2 weeks I've wasted on the kid's books. Soo I will be spending 2 days on each article.
