Many many options for Kipps and Tono-Bungay from last night. I think I will go with these (or slight variations of these)

I do however quite like the white text on them...

However not so much on Ann Veronica

I think this will possibly be very close to what the finished front cover will look like (thanks for showing me how to do shadows Alex!)

Though I like the gold text of this one in a way...

I edited the paintings on Photoshop to make the cutlery and money tone nearer to the fist tone.

 

  

The cutlery looks a bit empty compared to the money and fists. I'm going to try and layer these up.

These are the basic idea for the covers. The composition is all wrong, but the parts are roughly what I will be doing.

 

This is what the hardback cover of the books will be like. They are gel transfers of montages of text from the relevant books.
